British Grand Prix 2012: Silverstone just about keeps its head above the flood waters
Jacques Rogge did not appear to see the irony in his comments. “I think
Formula One is an extremely well organised sport, both on the track and in
general,” the president of the International Olympic Committee told a gaggle
of journalists on a pre-race lap of Silverstone’s media centre, flanked by
Formula One’s chief executive Bernie Ecclestone.
